At Children’s Hope Alliance, our goal is to ensure that every part of the foster care process is driven by the desire to do what is the best for the child. When a child has been removed from their home due to abuse, neglect, or other issues, our next step is to immediately provide a safe, healing environment for that child.
Supporting Youth Through the Foster Care Process
We are dedicated to ensuring that every child in our care is matched with a loving, supportive family that meets their unique needs. Our comprehensive approach provides the necessary resources and support to foster families, ensuring the well-being and development of each youth.
Youth are matched with appropriate, licensed families based on their level of need. Children's Hope Alliance provides Family Foster Care, Therapeutic Foster Care, and IAFT (Intensive Alternative Family Treatment).
Foster families are provided with an in-depth understanding of the child’s needs before placement and the necessary resources to support the child. Foster parents receive consistent, individualized training tailored to the needs of the child in their home.
Our families utilize the Teaching Family Model, a strengths-based, trauma-informed therapy model. This model empowers youth to use a “voice and choice” method of development, involving them in every decision made in their lives. TFM staff provide support and visits to help implement this model of care.
We offer 24/7/365 on-call support from a regional Case Manager. We are dedicated to providing consistent support to every child placed in your home. For youth placed at the FFC level, we visit at least monthly to ensure their well-being; for TFC and IAFT level youth, we visit on a weekly basis to provide the additional support and care they need.
Case Managers are dedicated to supporting the child in your care. They assist in navigating the child welfare system, advocate for the child's needs within the school system, work closely with the child's birth family, and collaborate with you to help the child achieve permanency.
